Elwin's PondaRoacha Jalapeño, Cheese and Sausage Poppers

1 8oz package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese

1 cup of grated Parmesan or Le Gruyère Cheese (Le Gruyère is best if you can find it. (Lowe's Grocery has it here in Alamogordo, don't know About Albertson's, Wal Mart doesn't. )

1 lb. regular Sausage (Jimmy Dean, Owens, etc.)

24 Jalapeños

-------------------------------

1. Put on vinyl or latex gloves and half the Jalapeños. Remove the seeds as well as the placenta (the white strips running the length of the peppers) to reduce the SHU heat index.

2. Fry the sausage, drain grease, and let cool to room temperature

3. Mix the cheeses with sausage

4. Fill the Jalapeño halves (a fork works well)

5. Place them on a cookie sheet and cook in oven at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until they begin to brown.
