SHEILA’S [J-A-T] TIDBITS   No.21      (August 5th. 2015).

On the 24th of July we had a wedding in the family:  We had family in the area for nine days and it was an exceptionally busy time.  This was a very happy time when all but five of the family were present.  I could not help but BE REMINDED of the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  The Bride was our granddaughter.  She chose a destination wedding -- the destination being nearby so that Ray and I could easily be with them for the occasion. (1st Blessing)  This meant that all her siblings and their families including eight of our great grandchildren arrived in the week before the wedding, the youngest being not quite four months. (2nd Blessing)  There was much coming and going and; we were nearly over!come by the honour and loving care shown to us.  Our granddaughter and her fiance were among the first to arrive.  She is a walking miracle of health and beauty. (3rd Great Blessing).  One year ago she visited us. She was just ‘skin and bone’. Earlier she had been diagnosed as having three very serious tumours and given one month to live if she didn’t take ‘chemo’.  She refused and elected to go the natural way, visiting a ‘natural’ clinic in Mexico.  Now the doctors cannot find any tumours and as they are skeptical of miracles, prefer to say it must have been a wrong diagnosis! We know better! Amen.

We arrived in Canada in August l968 with 4 children and today we number 37,  We are all healthy and kept by the power of Our God. Some do not yet acknowledge Who their many blessings (way beyond being countable) come from but we are confident that they will for we stand on the promises of our Father.  (Psalm 102:28) The children of Thy servants shall continue and their seed shall be established before Thee.  (Psalm 103:1) Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me bless his holy name……..

Rejoice with us that do REJOICE’           Love and Blessings, Sheila.
