Just-A-Thought No. 448 (January  11th. 2015)

BEYOND YOUR PRESENT IMAGINATION or is it?   Your expected end Part 7.

(1 Cor.15:52)  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (to an incorruptible  state). How often we have said that we want to be like Jesus? … Usually picturing Jesus Christ as He walked the earth! (Emphasis on what He did, but remember Jesus (the man) was corruptible at that time (Christ the Spirit, being God, not corruptible) as He (Jesus) was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sinJesus , the man, never succumbed to these temptations. The pattern Son is in a resurrected  INCORRUPTIBLE STATE that life is greater than His earthly walk wherein He could be tempted. Greater life able to do greater things. Jesus like Adam bore the responsibility of the sin of his ‘wife’ making Him taste corruption (He became sin for us). Paul differentiates between Jesus Christ who walked the earth and Jesus who was/is raised incorruptible, restored to Christ-Jesus… and that is the total corporate Christ-life that is now in us by the Spirit. The Christ part of Jesus, being God as Spirit, could not fail, but Jesus being the tangible form could be tested in all points like us.This should raise one’s belief/faith higher. Believing coupled with feeling which comes from a consuming deep desire, will bring forth the changes we long for of our destiny. Imagination (the subconscious getting through!) by the Spirit must include expectancy …. not just ‘entertainment’. It is so much more than wishful-thinking!

Jesus -- the likeness of God whilst Christ is the image of God. We follow this same pattern. [Now do your homework … identify with this … Adam-Christ; Fred-Christ; Ray-Christ; Mary-Christ; and so on … remember you too are in the image and likeness of God!].  G.B.Y.
