A PREPARED PLACE

By Alyce McPherson

Seventeen years ago in 1988, I wrote the following:

The year 1988 is gone, and looking back in retrospect, I see a time of great catastrophe and turmoil as the earth moved out of its place. The physical things of nature realize the day of visitation and are bringing forth a praise unto God, as they shake themselves from the death image cast upon them by mankind in his fall. This praise is disguised and hidden from the natural eye as man looks upon the death and destruction manifest around him not realizing the earth is declaring a day of full redemption.

The earth once, opened its mouth and consumed the blood of righteous Abel, but is now casting out the dead and will no longer cover its slain.

Isaiah 26:21:

For behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Death is being revealed and swallowed up in victory, as truth destroys the stronghold of darkness and deception that has claimed generations and produced death instead of life.

1988 was a time many appeared before the judgment seat of Christ, and were allowed to look within themselves and see the weak places that needed to be tempered in the fires of Christ’s righteous judgment. There is no stone unturned as He prepares us to receive the reserved portion of our inheritance.

Many were at ease in truth never realizing that the word of truth brings forth its own judgment that begins to destroy and bring under subjection all things that are not in harmony with its declaration. The word that speaks of greater promises demands the greatest judgment. Many in 1988 found themselves broken asunder as they were taken by the neck and shaken to pieces.

In this shaking, many thoughts and opinions were cast away because they were founded upon vanity. There is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof is death. There is a giant in the land named vanity, that has survived countless generations because it received strength from those who served a man made image of the ancient of days. God has a people by the neck however, and will destroy the face of this covering. This will be done to set us up for His mark, His image, and His nature, in order to produce His will and purpose in the earth.

It’s difficult to digest a new truth because there has not been and establishment of it in the earth. It’s relatively easy to walk in ways carved out by our forefathers. We know how to move in the gifts of the Spirit because others before us received the formula of operation. In spite of having this formula however, mankind has defiled the gift realm because this realm falls short of perfection. As a result there was room for defilement.

We forget however the price our forerunners paid in the day of their visitation. They endured hardship, ridicule, and even death to establish the blessings we now experience in God. They stood upon the word of God, endured the judgments that accompanied the revelation and as a result this truth was established for future generations.

Several years ago as I was ministering, and a vision appeared before me. I saw mankind being stripped of earthy ministries so that God might clothe them with His garments. As the people appeared naked before the world, they began to cry out for God to cover their nakedness, and because of their strong crying and travail, God clothed them with a lesser garment and because of this, ministries continued to miss the mark of the high calling in Christ. In times past we have sewn sackcloth upon ourselves not willing to bear the reproach of appearing naked for a season as God strips away the covering of vanity. We have defiled our horn in the dust. A horn represents a sound of influence, and we have brought the truth of a spiritual word into the realm of the carnal and defiled this truth in the dust. As a result creation is walking in the realm of the shadow of death.

Job wrote: Oh earth cover not my blood, and let my cry have no place, also now, behold , my witness is in heaven and my record is on high.

Job was crying out in his turmoil and frustration. He knew the place he was conscious of was not the place he was ordained to possess. He did not want the place were he was to endure forever. He declared his witness was established in heavenly places and he was out of his natural habitat.

We have made ourselves at home in the realm of consciousness we have walked in. We have become at ease in our knowledge and revelation , and have created a place for it to dwell in our daily lives, unmindful of the fact that the word of God will prepare its own secret place.

This is the prayer that is pure:

Oh earth, cover no longer, protect no longer the frail image of humanity cast upon me through the disobedience of a creature made subject to vanity. Let my cry have no place, but let my declaration be heard in the earth; For my witness is recorded on high and is written among the living in your kingdom. Amen.

THE END

A PREPARED PLACE

Two thousand years ago, Jesus was speaking to his Disciples, explaining the necessity of His going away and the Apostles were very disturbed at this revelation. How could He possibly go away and leave them? He had walked with them for three and one-half years performing signs and wonders before their eyes. He had empowered them to cast out devils and heal the sick. He had declared Himself to be the Son of God and now He was intending to go away and leave them behind.

St. John 13:36,38

Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. Peter said unto Him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee. The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

When Jesus saw how disturbed they were, He spoke the following words to them:

St. John 14:1,2:

Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

I know we are the temples of the living God, and in the Father’s household of faith there are many individual dwelling places. We are lively stones fitly joined together to build up a holy habitation, that God will inhabit by His Spirit. He lives in and through us and has chosen us to dwell in throughout eternity. In this particular scripture however, I see something I had never seen before.

IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE

St. John 1:1: tells us that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.

This word used in the above scripture, in the Greek language is Logos meaning the divine expression of Spirit. God’s nature is I AM, THAT I AM, or I AM WHAT I BECOME. The divine expression or the Father Spirit in His creation became ALL THINGS. Nothing was made that did not come out of God. He is the Father of all creation and everything created is a part of His household.

Col. 1:16:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones , or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him.

Romans 1:20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and Godhead.

Everything that the Logos Word became has a designated place to dwell and a body that is created to suit that environment. The celestial bodies inhabit the heavens, terrestrial bodies make their home in earth, and the waters of the earth is home to all manner of life. Every specie has a natural habitat and continues to remain within the boundary and limitation of its nature. Each specie is limited in its expression to the original seed that gave it life.

MANSIONS

The word mansion as used in the above scripture is not a literal house. This is the only place the Greek word is translated mansion. it means: to stay in a given place, state, relation or expectancy. It also means to abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry for thine own. ( Strong's Exhaustive Concordance)

The word, place, Jesus was going to prepare means: a spot or a part of a greater whole. It was a state of being or a nature, that was to inhabit a place in the great scheme of God’s eternal plan for creation.

Jesus told the Apostles that He was going to prepare a place for them. Why wasn’t there a place for them already? If there were already mansions in the Father’s house, why would He then have to go and build twelve more?

The Apostles who walked with Jesus in the days of His flesh were after the likeness and image of the first man Adam. They were Spirit minded as long as Jesus was with them, but when He went away they went fishing. They returned to the habitat into which they had been born. Their consciousness was in the earth realm and their identity was written in the dust of Adam. Their nature was subject to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life.

Jesus spoke the following:

St. John 14:3:

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also.

The place He was going to prepare was a place that did not exist at that point in time. This place would be a new dwelling place in the Father’s house. A newly formed habitat that had to be created for a new specie that would walk the earth as a new creation man. A specie that had never walked before. A creation that had no specific dwelling place at that point in time, and this dwelling place or mansion had to be created by Jesus going away.

WHERE DID JESUS GO ?

To understand this scripture, we need to know where He was before. Jesus spoke to His disciples the following words concerning who He was:

John 6:58, 62

This is that bread which came down from heaven; not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead; he that eateth of this bread shall live forever.

Many therefore of His disciples, when they had heard this said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?

When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples murmured at it, He said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where He was before?

Jesus was the divine expression of the invisible Spirit that created all things.

John 1:1:

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

Verse 14:

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

1 John 1:1:2:

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life,

For the life was manifested, and we have seen it and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;

Before Jesus became flesh, He was the divine expression of the Father Spirit. He was the word that could not be heard until it became flesh and dwelled among us, and when He had manifested fully His plan and purpose, He returned back to what He was before which was Spirit.

Our natural mind then begins to reason and we ask the question, "If Jesus returned back to Spirit, then what happened to His body?"

It’s not hard for us to believe that Jesus in the form of word became flesh in the womb of Mary. We believe in the virgin birth because we were born into the light of this understanding. We blindly accepted this as truth because the church we attended taught this doctrine. We accepted this teaching by faith supported by scripture.

Why then is it so hard for us to comprehend the word that declares that Jesus went back to what he was before, which was Spirit? I believe it is because we have an image of God as being three separate beings. We have been taught the trinity: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

God is Spirit! The Spirit has an expression which is defined as Word. The Spirit has within its nature the capacity to become all things. The Spirit is first of all Father, because it became all things. Everything created finds its beginning in the Father Spirit.

Jesus was the only begotten son of God. The word begotten means: He who has the issue of the Father in His loins. The birthright and the blessing!

Adam was a son of God, yet he could not reproduce after the image of God, because he could not see God. He walked in the realm of earthy consciousness, and therefore was subject to death. The word that Jesus became, appeared in the image of man, that he might destroy the face of death cast upon Adam because of sin.

The prophets prophesied concerning the coming of Jesus:

Isa. 7:14:

Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The prophets prophesied in the old testament that his name would be called Immanuel, but when Jesus was born He was called Jesus. Why?

The word Immanuel means : God with us, describes the fact that God Himself was going to come and live with us, and the name Jesus, meaning Jehovah saves, reveals the fact that He was coming to save us from our sins.

Jesus was God reproduced in flesh to fulfill a purpose. When Jesus gave up the ghost on the cross, He declared: "It is finished." He had become a sinless man in the earth. A perfect sacrifice for sin, A last man Adam that had the power to give His life and take it up again.

He descended into the realm of death and hell and delivered all those who were held captive in darkness into the light of a new day. He was resurrection of all who had gone before, and all who would be birthed into the light of who He was. He fulfilled His purpose as a man, ascended back to what he was before which was Spirit. Fifty days later He returned on the day of Pentecost in the form of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus told His Apostles in:

St. John 14:7:

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Verse 8: Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Verse 9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father?

Verse 16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, (Jesus Himself) and shall be in you.

18: I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.

On the day of Pentecost, Jesus returned in the form of the Holy Ghost and was received by the one hundred and twenty waiting for His coming in the upper room.

Contained within the Holy Ghost is the identity or DNA of a new creation man. An identity that is both heavenly and earthy. A nature that originated in Spirit, fell into darkness, and resurrected out of death, back into light, holding the keys to death and hell. A seed that will reproduce itself into the likeness and image of Jesus Christ after His resurrection. A new specie that will walk with its feet upon the earth and its head in the heavens.

Jesus told His Apostles:

St. John 12:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Jesus was the seed line of a new creation man. The Holy Ghost is that same Jesus that walked the earth two thousand years ago and is now dwelling within man, His dwelling place.

The place Jesus went away to prepare is a habitation for a new life form that could identify with earth and heaven.

We are a new man walking. The nature and identity of who we are is contained within the Holy Ghost that dwells within our Spirit. We are a new specie, created anew in Christ Jesus that can walk with our feet on the earth and our head in the heavens.

The earth was created to be inhabited. In this habitation God ordained a man in His own likeness and in His own image to take dominion over all that is created. This man’s earthy identity began in the first man Adam, who was made subject to death, that he might overcome death, hell and the grave in the last man Adam.

Our natural habitat is found in the realm of Spirit, but because of the fall of the first man Adam our consciousness has been centered on earthy reality to the extent that we have been clothed with an acquired identity.

1 Cor. 4:18:

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

1 Cor. 13:9:12:

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

CONCLUSION

There is a place in God, where we can walk on the earth but our consciousness is in the realm of Spirit to the extent that we know as we are known. This happened to me in 1996. I was caught up into this place for five and one-half hours. I saw from the beginning to the end. I was given a taste of where we are going, not geographically, but Spiritually. The glory and majesty of this place cannot be told with the sound of natural voice. One must be caught up into the experience of this glorious manifestation.

I have been behind the veil. Christ Himself appeared out of the midst of me and totally seized me into a glory I have never experienced before. He came from the inside out and was in total control I was inside Him and found myself experiencing a oneness with Christ Himself. I felt His great love and compassion for mankind and I saw all things finished in Him. Understand what I am saying; all things are finished in Him! In the realm of spirit He has finished what He was sent to do. Now He has seated Himself in a position, high above all principality and power. This position will never be usurped by any other power for He has put all things under foot. He will come as a thief out from the midst of man, binding the strong man of the house and taking full control as He catches man up into the glory behind the veil of our flesh. We will never again return to the beggarly elements of earth's consciousness for we will be enveloped with the mind of Christ.

I did not stay there, but I was there. While I was there I was able to function in the realm of earth and accomplish the necessary things of life, but my mind was His mind, seated in the heavens. My whole being was bathed in pure love for His creation. There was no respect of persons in this place in Him.

When I was released again to earth's consciousness, I asked Him why I could not stay, His answer was; "I took you behind the veil, so that you could spy out the land I'm taking you to, and now you are to bring back the report to creation."

I knew why He was willing to give His life in the flesh and return as the seed of a quickening Spirit. It was to take up the greater glory of indwelling all mankind as the life principal of a new creation in the earth. A seed after His own planting. A people who would declare His generation The glory of this appearing will never pass away nor be defiled by man. It is a place prepared in the midst of man himself. This place is the Christ in man and will soon emerge from the inside out and swallow up death in victory. A people will walk upon the earth with the mind of Christ in total control, putting down all rule and authority.

THE END

There’s a place in the Lord that is Holy,
There’s a place in the Lord that is free,
There’s a place where death’s hold is broken,
It’s a place this world has not seen.
There’s a place where all mountains crumble,
There’s a place where all valley’s rise,
There’s a place where we shall be like unto Him,
For His love shall be seen in our eyes.

AMEN
