ARMAGEDDON

This article was written with the intention of dispelling the spirit of fear and sense of doom our nation has experienced in the world trade center and pentagon bombing. When these types of disasters occur there is an immediate coming together in our grief and finding comfort in numbers. This article is not written to bring anguish or condemnation to God's people, but it is my desire to help us look at the situation with a sense of victory and not defeat. I do not speak against the body of Christ or His church which is His people. My intention is to send forth a word that will set men free from a denominational system that has separated and divided the people of God. We are all bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh for we all came out of Him. We must come together in this hour if not in word, then in spirit, for the word will manifest it's own truth. We must take up the name of Christ and defeat the enemy at it's source and that source is the spirit of darkness.
The world has received a wake up call in the recent terrorist attack upon America. The armies of the world are preparing to go to war, the civil societies are paralyzed with fear, and the church world is having a field day, crying Armageddon, and making plans to escape the destruction via the rapture.
The scripture concerning the destruction of the world and the battle of Armageddon has been preached for centuries by the doctrinal church system, and the word they have spoken has created a monster that has arisen to destroy the world through ignorance, strengthened by the spirit of terrorism. Word is the seed of all creation and when a word is spoken, the spirit within it will create on the level it was spoken. Religion has taken word out of context and made it fit within the confines of doctrinal interpretation. The scriptures used to define Armageddon have already been fulfilled as witnessed by history and experienced by generations past.
The book of revelation has been the source of confusion since John was exiled to the Isle of Patmos, and saw events unfold in the form of a vision. The book of revelation is a symbolic book that must be discerned with the eye of spirit , realizing that ninety per cent of it's content has been fulfilled. It is not the last book of the Bible written and does not represent the end of the world. The Apostle John was seeing the revelation of Jesus Christ as being the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Let us take a second look at the scripture that refers to Armageddon and see it in the context of when it was written.
Rev. 16:12:
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
The river Euphrates is referred to as the great river in the book of Joshua, and is the natural boundary between the empires of Egypt and Babylonia. It is also one of the four streams of Eden.
Gen. 2:10,14:
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
These four rivers are symbolic of the four major religions in the earth that have their roots in the golden age of Adam. Three of them; Pison, Gihon, and Hiddekel represent three divisions of eastern philosophy based upon humanism. The river Euphrates represents Judaism which contained the law of commandments God gave the nation of Israel through the prophet Moses.
Until the law was given, creation had no divine governmental guidance, and as a result the Apostle Paul tells us that death reigned from Adam to Moses.
When God gave the law to the nation of Israel, He moved within the confines of it's teaching, and as a result all other religions were bound for lack of His Spirit of life. Just as God honored Abel's offering over Cain's, God will honor the word of His present divine intention above all else.
The other three rivers or religions were bound in Euphrates or the law, and were not loosed until the opening of the sixth seal. When the messages were loosed again they appeared in the earth as the new age movement or eastern philosophy.
What loosed the angels?
When Jesus fulfilled the law, He ushered in a new dispensation of divine purpose, the dispensation of grace!
Grace means unmerited favor. When creation found itself out from under the confines of the law, there was a new found freedom under grace. It rained upon the just and the unjust alike. It was a time all religions could move and flourish in the earth.
The way of the kings of the east was prepared! We see eastern philosophy flourishing today in the dispensation of Grace. The kings are not people but represent new age philosophy founded upon humanism. The deception of eastern philosophy is the great counterfeit, a tree that is pleasant to the eye, a tree good for food, and a tree to make man wise. It appeals to the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and is a tree desired to make one wise.
Rev. 16:13,16:
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
There were three unclean spirits loosed in Euphrates. A frog represents something in the embryonic stage. John saw something birthed out of the mouth of the dragon, the beast and the mouth of the false prophet. This birth came from the mouth, or a message in embryonic form, a new birth, a new philosophy.
The first message was out of the mouth of the beast. The beast is unconverted mankind. Man in his total makeup is spirit, soul and body and his number is six. Seven is God's number of perfection and man can never supercede God. Therefore, man must take the number six. Since man is marked with six in all three realms of his being, we see the sum total of 666 being the number of man.
Psalm 73:22.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
The mark of the beast is the unenlightened characteristic nature of man manifest through his creative society, both religiously and culturally.
The second message came from the mouth of the dragon. The scripture tells us that the dragon in the book of revelation is Satan. The word Adam means red. After the fall of Adam, God told the serpent, "Upon thy belly shalt thou go." The word belly in the Hebrew language implies the thought of producing seed as a mother. God was telling the serpent that his seed would endure as long as he could transfer his lies into the womb or mind of man from generation to generation. He is referred to in scripture as being a liar from the beginning.
I know, I know, we don't want to acknowledge this spirit of darkness. We want to bury our heads in the sand hoping it will go away. I'm sorry folks we may as well get real and face the music.
The word Satan means adversary. It is any spirit that opposes the will and purpose of God.. Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom and then a few verses down he rebuked him by saying, "Get thee behind me Satan for you savor the things of man more than the will of God."
Job considered God to be his adversary:
Job 31:35:
Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
Haman was an adversary to Esther:
Esther 7:6:
And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
When Jesus died on the cross He accomplished the following:
Hebrews 2:14:
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
The word destroy in the above scripture means, to render inactive. Jesus rendered Satan's activity inactive in Himself, but the seed of the serpent is still being transferred from generation to generation.
And those lies have penetrated the doctrinal walls of religion and has dimmed the bright light of God's glory:
Lament. 4:12:
The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.
The third message came from the mouth of the false prophet. The false prophet is the religious system that has kept mankind under bondage to carnal teaching for over two thousand years.
In the Book of Revelation we read about the new Jerusalem having twelve foundations. The early church was founded upon the word ministered by Jesus to the twelve Apostle. The twelve foundations each had the name of one of the Apostles on it. That church fell away and wandered into the wilderness of the Roman Papacy in 300 AD. The word was translated into Latin and the common person could not read it. Catholicism became the religious authority until Martin Luther brought about the reformation of the church and the Protestant movement began. The following scripture is a type and shadow of how the church system became divided:
Isaiah 44:3,5: For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. One shall say, I am the Lord's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Each denomination was founded upon a truth, a noble endeavor and many suffered persecution and great affliction to establish that particular truth in the earth. I thank God for the foundations of truth that have survived for centuries and has brought us to the place we now find ourselves.
The problem was, each time truth was revealed, a denomination camped there and built doctrinal walls around themselves and refused to move any further. They refused to believe there was more to know about the plan of God and therefore missed great visitations of word and spirit.
Many doctrinal issues our church system believes today were born during the time the early church was in her wilderness wanderings. Teachings concerning the trinity, water baptism, communion and the rapture theory are all examples of how the church has been infiltrated by the graven images of man. These ordinances all had a greater spiritual depth than man has comprehended them to have, and lack of spiritual interpretation has kept us separated from a greater understanding of the will and purpose of God.
When Jesus came to earth, He created a name or nature that was caught up into throne room authority. This nature has become a standard of measurement, both in heaven and in earth. When one comes in the strength of what this name implies, great things are done! It is a law set in motion
The time is here however, when a people must come in the name of the Lord, in the power and identity of that name. We must experience intimately a oneness with the Christ within in order to appear in that nature! This identity must be birthed within us.
Now to continue with Revelation 16:
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
The beast, dragon and false prophet have set the stage for the battle of the ages.. We see standards of morality set aside and replaced by the sexual revolution displayed in our homes, schools, churches, media, entertainment, and governmental systems. Religion has twisted the word of God and made it fit their doctrinal beliefs. They have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof. It has promoted humanism and held a people bondage under the canopy of darkness. There is no reverential fear of God in the earth, to the extent the world wants to take Him out of their work places, schools and government.
Imaginations or image nations have been created by doctrines adulterated by outward influence. These nations must be defeated and cast down by the spirit of truth.
2 Cor. 10:5:
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Rev. 16:
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue ARMAGEDDON.
We have heard the government speak and say, "This is a new kind of war." Osamo Bin Laden has titled it "A Holy War." Both these statements are true. This war on terrorism will not be won or lost in the realm of earth but in the realm of the heavens. The weapons of our warfare will not be carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
Eph 6:12:
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Our enemy is not flesh and blood, but the spirit of terror that manifests itself through flesh. This enemy is spirit and must be defeated in the realm of spirit.
Armageddon is a battle in the realm of spirit.. We must know our enemy in order to defeat him. Moses was ordained to be a deliverer to the nation of Israel under bondage to the Egyptians. He was taken from his Hebrew family and raised in the house of Pharoah the enemy. He learned the ways of Egypt, he was introduced to their customs and laws, and became familiar with the gods of Egypt
He was then taken to the back side of the desert to know the I AM, THAT I AM!
Our enemy is the serpent's seed; the lies that have been projected from generations past. A great counterfeit that denies the power of God and promises God's people an escape route from the battle of Armageddon by a rapture! A people who are willing to retreat and leave the earth and those who they have judged unworthy behind to face the music. I think not! Jesus did not die in vain! In Adam all die, in Christ shall all be made alive, every man in his own order.
I was once in bondage to this great lie, until God visited me and showed me that He was not a coward, nor did He have a people who would run from battle. This is the day of the Lord! He is ruling and reigning in the midst of a people who are willing in the day of His power to take up their sword (word) and shield (spirit) and fight the spirit of terror at it's source.
The attack that devastated the world trade center and damaged the pentagon is nothing new to the third world countries who are constantly experiencing the heartbreak and damage sustained by the acts of terrorism; and now it has touched American soil. In the midst of all the turmoil, confusion and pain there must be a trumpet blown that will send forth a certain sound! A sound that will send forth a word ordained for this day! A rod of iron that has been ordained to rule the nations!
Rev: 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
A priesthood is standing in Jordan today. They are standing for God and for His people. They have the word, the rod of iron upon their shoulders. A governmental position with the authority of Almighty God enforcing it.
We have been fighting the battle of Armageddon now for many years. This battle has been fought with the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. It has brought forth a light that is exposing all things that dwell in darkness. This darkness shall be destroyed and find no hiding place as the light uncovers and renders inactive every adversary to the cause of Chirst.
Here are a few scriptures that give us courage in this hour:
Psalm. 72:11: Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
Psalm 82:8:
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Psalm 86:9:
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
Psalm 118:10:
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
Isaiah 2:2:
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.
Do not be afraid! Do not look for devastation! Stand up in the authority of the Lord and speak life and victory. Send forth a word that will bring light and life to a people who sit in gross darkness. For He is appearing today as the Logos Word of God, and will soon appear out of the midst of a people, the nature of who He is manifest in His many membered body, ordained to overcome the beast, dragon and false prophet who survive under the cover of darkness.
In Him was light, and the light was the life of men!
