Hi Elwin,

Just had to send you this note to let you know how deeply I appreciated your most recent lesson on the apocalypse: Dispensationalism And The Rapture. What an excellent summation of just how the present, popular eschatological model was constructed, built according to the blueprint of Jesuit craftiness.

You've also highlighted how much of a chasm there can be between a vision, and its interpretation, between that first impress of revelation, and the understanding that must follow. The degree to which the Lord subjects His Truth to distortion never ceases to amaze me.

How insidiously the father of lies manipulates the minds of even those who have been touched by our Lord's saving grace. It would definitely seem that the dark art of traducing is mostly about manipulation. The Reality which is Christ, could be likened to the new material that no matter what you subject it to, it always returns to its original shape.

Yet that illustration falls short, for with God, surrendering Himself to being misshapen results finally in a superabundant release of more of His Spirit substance. God is about the more. "I am come that they might have life, and that MORE abundantly" The more can only come from His own depths, and can only find more release by means of the cross.
